FAQ

Student Commitee

The “Fachschaft 7/3” is composed of all students of the study programs SpraKo, TK, Psychology, Empirische Bildungsforschung, CSS and Digimon. Within the university it is represented by the student council 7/3, which is confusingly also often called “Fachschaft” in everyday language. The student council 7/3 is elected once a semester by the student body (the “Fachschaft”) at the general assembly and is part of student self-government.

Our most important task is to represent our students. As the voice of the student body, we communicate at the university level. In addition, we organize the freshman week, various events, workshops, excursions and much more.

You can write us an email at fs@fskowi.rwth-aachen.de. We would be happy, if you would like to join us!

It’s great that you want to help us with the freshmen work. To become a tutor, you have to take part in our tutor training. This usually takes place on one of the last weekends before the start of the winter semester. Here you will be specifically prepared for the challenges of being a tutor, and you will also receive information material and a schedule for the week.

You will get more detailed information about the tutor training at the tutor information day! This day always takes place in the summer semester and is announced via an email to our mailing lists. If you have any questions with regard to becoming a tutor, you can also always write an email to esa@fskowi.rwth-aachen.de!

All about Studys

You can find basic information about your study program in the examination regulations. There you will find, for example, admission requirements, permitted forms of examination, the study plan and much more. Unfortunatly, the examination regulations are in german language. You can find the german version of your examination regulations here. If you study CSS, you can find a translated (not legally binding) version here (LINK!).

For more detailed information on individual courses, corresponding examination requirements or attendance regulations, please have a look into the module manual. You can find it in RWTH-Online in the section “Degree Programmes”. You have to click on the book symbol for your study program.

If you have difficulties finding the right information, we will be happy to help you.  Experience has shown that a personal conversation over a cup of coffee is the best way to do this.

The procedure of writing a bachelor’s or master’s thesis depends on the degree program or institute. You can find more detailed information, depending on your course of study, under the tab Information on this homepage.
